Empowering Women, Protecting Families: Highlights from WOFADEP 2026

Substance abuse and mental health challenges affect entire communities, but families often sit at the frontline of these crises. Recognizing the vital role women play in fostering healthy homes, The Grace Thomas Foundation, in collaboration with The Reformed Drug and Substance Abuse Initiative (REDSAI), hosted the Women and Family Drug Education Program (WOFADEP) on Thursday, February 26th, 2026, at the Catholic Pastoral Center in Jalingo.
The event brought together community members, advocates, and health resource partners under an inspiring and actionable theme:
“Women at the Center: Strengthening Families Through Drug Education and Mental Health Literacy”
